It is important to keep in mind that, from the outset, the server-based portion of the system is really the brains of the service, whereas the N95 is its eyes, ears, and voice.
In the main menu, you have six options:

I used the LG for about a week, and really put this one to the test. It was used as my main line for calls, sms and photos, and I must say, I was not disappointed.
