Once again, our friends at Seagate have sent us a hot little drive to drool over and fondle until we got around to writing this post about the FreeAgent Go!
A new addition to the Seagate line of external drives, the FreeAgent Go delivers on the excellence that Seagate is known for with their drive solutions.
The FreeAgent Go is definitely a drive to have if you have a laptop and are a serious traveler! This drive is tiny, compact, and super sexy! The designers over at Seagate definitely know what makes technogeeks such as myself drool!
This drive supports USB 2.0 but the transfer is rather quick!
The unit we received here is black with white lighting to let you know when the drive is being accessed, read from, or written to. Believe me when I say this is a very good looking drive and rather small.
To give you an idea here are the physical dimensions:
0.49 in H x 3.15 in W x 5.12 in L (12.5 mm x 80 mm x 130 mm) Weight: 5.64 oz (0.16 kg)
The FreeAgent Go is a compact and amazingly portable drive.
Seagate has really outdone themselves as far as portable drives go!
The Seagate FreeAgent Go is available in 250, 320, and 500GB capacities. It is also available in a variety of colors. (Silver, Black, Blue, and Red)
If you own a notebook PC, and need more storage the FreeAgent Go is your best bet!

Our friends at Seagate have been very good to us over here at NerdyBlog.com they have always been willing to help and give us all the info we could possibly want to know about their products and services.
I had the personal pleasure of checking out the Seagate FreeAgent Pro which has completely changed my mind on the idea of external storage.
The FreeAgent Pro is an external drive for a desktop or laptop, and supports USB, E-Sata, and Firewire connections for simple and easy data storage.
The FreeAgent Pro may be just an external drive, however when it comes from Seagate you definitely get your moneys worth!
The FreeAgent Pro allows you to easily move your important files between multiple places and platforms.
At a glance:
The above listed features make this drive the best thing you could ask for in an external storage drive!
Thanks to our friends at Seagate for giving us the chance to take a first hand look at their entire lineup of drives! If there is a specific drive you’d like us to check out, please leave your comments!

As you all may know, Blizzard has finally announced a release date for World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King. November 13th 2008 is when it all goes down, and tons of new features, customizations, areas, and gear!
I must say, we here at NerdyBlog.com are truly excited for its release and are even more stoked that our friends over at Blizzard Entertainment have let us in on the ground floor to check out the Wrath beta before it goes live!
I have loaded up myself, as well as two of our guildies with beta keys, and FRAPS. We will explore as much as we can over the coming weeks, and post our findings in the form of video with commentary by myself and our guildies.
If you are a WoW player, and would like an invite to our guild, please just whisper myself (Dorkins / Huntins) or Myren (Isthmaril) and we will get you set up.
So guys stay tuned as we totally abandonn our social lives to jump into World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King!

When we received the Dell XPS M1730 here at the NerdyBlog.com offices, we were super stoked to have our very first Dell gaming machine to review. We checked out the specs of the laptop and were convinced that it would withstand today’s high resolution / graphic intense games.
As it turns out, this laptop has a couple of issues that need to be resolved before it could ever be considered a “Mobile Gaming Machine”
See what it needs after the jump!

SanDisk recently added the Clip to their lineup of MP3 players, and this little beauty is great for someone looking for the low-cost player at a high value.
The Sandisk Sansa Clip player is a “no-frills” player that is one of the most simple players I have every experienced. No software needed, just a USB cable and some MP3 files.
The clip supports the following formats:
This player also has a build in FM Tuner as well as a voice recorder which doesn’t do too bad of a job.It records to .WAV and sounds pretty good.
Overall, I was impressed with this little player. The value is outstanding!

So thanks to the lovely folks at Microsoft, I’ve had the chance to check out an 8GB iteration of the Microsoft Zune. There are a couple things I liked, and overall this is not really a “bad” player like a lot of people reported when it was first released.
Hit the jump for the info!

Japanese animation, or Anime, has slowly been invading America in several forms; merchandise, cartoons, and comic books. Most people are introduced to anime through what the American translators have destroyed and posted on television. I mean, what has been ‘translated’ and played on your general ‘G’ rated children’s television stations. Even though anime itself carries no rating – but the general western idea is that cartoons are for children, so anime has been adapted thus.
