Hello everyone, my name is Kyle Brouse and I shall be your new liaison to the world of video games… in video form none the less! Now first things first, don’t let my beard fool you, I’m exceedingly nerdy. I still read comics books, watch anime, and Episode V The Empire Strikes Back is obviously the best Star Wars movie ever. Hopefully that passes the test, because my Klingon grammar is a little shaky these days. All jokes aside, I would like to thank David Cruz for giving me this opportunity, and I shall try my best as this site’s videographer.
I’ve been a gamer since I was a little beardless child, and have just started venturing into the land of videos since about 2007. I started my own web series with my brother called The House of Brouse, and slowly branched off into short skits afterwards. Earlier this year I created a Youtube channel to talk about my love for video games; since it seemed to only make sense to put both my passions together in a neat little package for the world to see. I do anything from unboxings, gaming news, updates on what I’ve been playing, and starting very soon, game reviews. David told me about this site about a week ago and asked if I’d be interested in showing my videos here, and I jumped at the opportunity.
For my first post/video, I thought the recent news of Xenoblade Chronicles coming to North America would be a great way to get the ball moving. Xenoblade Chronicles is an RPG that came out last year in Japan, and had no intentions of being released in North America. Nintendo Wii fans decided to take matters in their own hands, and started a petition dubbed Operation Rainfall. The plan was to send as many emails, letters, and telephone calls begging Nintendo of America to bring this RPG over to the Western World.
Nintendo Wii owners, our prayers have been answered.
