This post will be somewhat difficult to write, as I find it difficult to come up with the words to describe how I feel about this moment in time.

When I registered NerdyBlog.com I had no idea what I planned to do with the domain.

After a couple of weeks of thought and building, I launched NerdyBlog.com as a place for people to come and learn about technology, comics and other nerdy topics.

The last 4 years running NerdyBlog have been nothing short of amazing, and I have cherished every moment. Unfortunately the time has come for me to step down from NerdyBlog as editor, and have someone take over for me full-time.

I may still write the occasional guest post, and my inbox is always open to you guys.

David Cruz will be assuming the role of Editor as I step down.

David has done phenomenal work in supporting NerdyBlog and keeping it going while I’ve been busy and as such, I can see nobody better than he to take over NerdyBlog and continue the great job he’s already doing.

Special thanks to David for continuing on with NerdyBlog.com! But most of all thank you, our readers, for making NerdyBlog a great place to write!

A few words from David

Hello everyone,

I’m sad to say farewell to Andrew Goldenberg. He is a great mentor to me and everyone here at NerdyBlog and will still be no matter what. Andrew will always have a special place here at NerdyBlog and could always come back whenever he wants to.

It was nearly a year ago that I joined the NerdyBlog team as the new and only Senior Editor and now It is a great honour for me to become Editor in Chief. I’m going to work towards being as awesome of an Editor in Chief as Andrew was; I would like to inform you all that NerdyBlog will have a new writer, a new videographer, and the return of an old editor. The new writer is Jon Myer, our new videographer is Kyle Brouse, and our returning editor is none other than Samuel Sewall, Both Jon and Samuel will become NerdyBlog’s new Senior Editors.

I’m currently working on getting a few web-series or shorts featured on NerdyBlog. We are planning on making more editorial based posts to gain more engagement from all of you. If any of you have any suggestions on what I should bring into NerdyBlog please just send me an email with the subject “Content Suggestion” I will read all of the emails and reply back if necessary.
