Hey everyone,

As you all know I have recently became the Editor in Chief of NerdyBlog, I love what NerdyBlog stands for, and I love working on NerdyBlog everyday. The main point and most important part of this announcement is one major change that will be happening on NerdyBlog. Let me say how NerdyBlog has always had a selected few writers that where the sole contributors; I feel that because of this NerdyBlog has not been able to achieve the full greatness that it could potentially be, this is the main reason of this announcement.

The major change I want to bring about is opening NerdyBlog contribution to anyone that wants to contribute to it and help make it the next major online magazine. Now just because I opened NerdyBlogs content contribution to anyone doesn’t mean I am going to give a author account to everyone. Because if I do then people will publish articles or content that is not rated G or not perfectly legal, so due to this I will be placing a link to a contact form on the side bar and at the bottom of this post so that aspiring contributors could contact us all. This form will ask for your name, and email, and will have a comment box for you to fill in. In the comment box you could place links to previous work of yours (if you have any, experience is not necessary), what type of contribution you want to make, a little bio about your self (we recommend you do this part at least), and/or to give us a synopsis on what ever said subject.

Another thing I want to add about this change is that contributors will currently not receive any commission, yet this could and hopefully will change soon. Reason why we can’t pay commissions to contributors is because NerdyBlog is funded solely out of my pocket (dust currently lines my wallet), but I hope to start gaining revenue to pay for writers, artists, any sort of contributor, and maybe even fund a web-series under the NerdyBlog name.
