Today I had the opportunity to try and unlock an iPhone version 1.1.2

This proved to be quite difficult. I started out by downgrading the firmware to version 1.1.1. I thought that this would allow me to use AnySim version 1.1. Unfortunately, AnySim version 1.1.1 is only compatible with iPhones that have been upgraded to 1.1.1 or that came with 1.1.1 out of the box.

So I decided to try downgrading the iPhone down to 1.0.2 and using the very first unlock method developed. Once again, to no avail.

I decided to head to every iPhone unlocking forum and information source I could find, and they all said the same thing. You cannot unlock iPhones that came out of the box with version 1.1.2 unless it has a lower version of the baseband firmware.

Version 46 of the baseband firmware for the iPhone is not unlockable

:( Sorry People, but as soon as a solution is available I will post instructions, but for now there is nothing that can be done.
