The Internet first revolutionized the tech sector with great boom, as it stood for the availability of information and the possibility of maintaining communication with people over 10,000KM away. Then came the webcam so we can chat with people over the Internet while seeing them face-to-face, just like the other person is in the same room with you. Now, not only can you buy yourself a real life functioning robot, but you can also make love to it too.
Where did it all go wrong?

The first ever digital camera I ever used was a Fujiflim F601 back in high school. I knew at the very moment that picked that camera up that the future of photography will be digital. And wow… 3.3 megapixels were just amazing!
Fast forward six years, and in my hand I have an 8.0MP and an 10.1MP cameras. Fuji has come a long way (along with everyone) in developing and marketing these still-life creators effectively. Fuji’s cameras have been made famous for their SuperCCD technology - basically taking pictures in low light conditions and have them made usable.
The Z100fd and the Z20fd are the newest entries to reach the masses. They both have the same old feel and functions as their predecessors, but they’re heavily beefed up.

Who would have thought that the solution to most data customers problems are the costs associated with data here in Canada?
Rogers Wireless has finally done something about their data rates that up until now were stuck in the 80s.
The new data rates are still a little steep, however they offer much more data, and reasonable overage rates. Hit the jump for the new data options from Rogers Wireless.

Great.
Not only did my heart sink, but I knew the impending doom that’s about to happen.
Don’t get me wrong, I like the concept of the Iphone, and I know that it will “revolutionize” the cellular industry as we know it. It’s too bad the client base it’s aimed incorrectly. Read the rest of this entry »

The people over at Seagate and Maxtor have supplied me with yet another Terrabyte hard drive, and we are going to make this one count!
A close friend to the site, and a hosted NerdyBlogger (IrishPyrate.com) wants to attend the premiere, however due to a scheduling conflict her plane ticket is going to cost $300 more!
That being said, NerdyBlog.com has teamed up with Maxtor to offer this 1TB hard drive on eBay for purchase. All proceeds / funds will then be transfered to IrishPyrate (Kait) to attend the premiere.
For anyone who has been to a premiere you must know how much fun it is, and if we can make that happen for someone then we are stoked!
