I had high hopes for this unit, as I had heard good things about the original BlackJack on AT&T. I thought, perhaps with the time and improved network, this edition could be the first Windows Mobile phone that I really found powerful. For those of you who have never used Windows Mobile (or Windows CE), it is eerily similar to the desktop, with the exception of a mouse. You have your start menu, and certain options are available to you. File explorer, internet explorer, windows media player etc.
With the Jack2, I discovered that there are two versions of Windows Mobile: Windows Mobile, and Windows Mobile Advanced. It turns out that the Jack only has the basic version. Having only used Advanced prior to this review, I must say, it was a disappointment for such a potentially powerful phone to use such a cookie cutter basic software.

For those of you whom have not got your hands on the sleeper hit Puzzle Quest, you’re missing out. In the past, when Puzzle Quest, was released, no one thought anything of it until some reviewers played it and were in shock of how much fun and addictive the game was. Gamers than tried the game and it became a hit. Puzzle Quest did the interesting thing of making a classic role playing game but having the battles fought out via turn based Bejeweled type puzzle solving. This innovative approach held the attention of RPG gamers and puzzle gamers alike.
With all the success of Puzzle Quest, you had to believe a sequel was in the works. Rumors spewed out slowly that the makers of the game D3Publisher and Infinite Interactive were working on a sequel to the game, and then a short time later, rumors rang that they were working on a separate entity as well that would be space sci fi themed. Fans were excited but wanted an official announcement.

In one of our recent posts, we wrote about a revamp that would be going down on the Rogers Wireless Network on March 18th. According to Ozzy (A User on HowardForums.com) this has now changed, and a couple other changes, updates, and clarifications were made to the data revamp.
One plan in particular that I would be super stoked to have would be the new Blackberry data plan which has the following:

A week or so ago, we held a contest for a Sandisk Sansa MP3 player courtesy of Sandisk.
The contest was great, and a lot of entries were sifted through to select a winner. The administrators of NerdyBlog.com finally decided on an entry based on a couple factors. This girl made it quite apparent that without music, her life would have no meaning.
We loved her entry, and she very much deserved to win! So congrats again to Nikka on her win, and thanks for the awesome review.

Over the past few years, I have made a tradition of making predictions for the world of technology and then the following year, reviewing those predictions and again posting predictions for the next year. I have not done so yet this year and now that I work at Nerdyblog.com, I’ve decided that I will review my last 2 years of predictions while making this year’s predictions. I hope you guys enjoy this lengthy post.

It has come to my attention that many people have fair to middling digital cameras, suitable for point a shoot situations, but even then there are many many blurry pictures in their albums. I have questioned them on this, and the answer I usually end up with is “A good camera is too expensive, and I dont know how to use them anyways”.
Fujifilm has taken care of this problem with aplomb. The FinePix S700 is affordable at 230$, easy to use (people are forever complimenting my pictures), and almost equal to a low end digital SLR in quality. It has a multitude of shooting options, a 10x optical zoom, an excellent flash and supports SDHC cards (secure digital high capacity).
