Hey Guys! Just looking through HowardForums.com this morning and found this little gem as one of the new posts there. I am quite happy to see these changes comming into effect. I am not sure if this is something Rogers is doing because they have some sleek new handsets that will use up a lot of browser data, or if its just Rogers finally competing with the Bell and Telus offerings.

Nice move Rogers, great for peeps stuck over there. I’ll stick with Telus though, but think how great all that will be when the Iphone is released here in Canada.

Yes they are, because this pricing doesn’t apply to BB users or WM users. Only people with phones like the W580 and whatnot.

WHEN the iPhone is released? Who have you been talking to? They need to have their head read. If the iPhone was coming they definetly would have released it before the BlackJack II

Talks are in the works to have the iphone released. Rogers and Apple are renegotiating to see how and who will get paid for activations (2 steps - SIM from Rogers, Iphone from iTunes), data usage (since the iPod aspect will whore out data to download track info, album art, lyrics, etc.), and phone limitations (Rogers MusicStore, disabling/opening up BT, etc…)
