Hey Guys! Just looking through HowardForums.com this morning and found this little gem as one of the new posts there. I am quite happy to see these changes comming into effect. I am not sure if this is something Rogers is doing because they have some sleek new handsets that will use up a lot of browser data, or if its just Rogers finally competing with the Bell and Telus offerings.
Either way, this is an awesome thing to see for someone like me first thing in the morning! Hit the jump for details! Read the rest of this entry »

In the last 24hrs, Pownce has gone from being a social website where the only way to join was to be invited, to being completely open for anyone to join.
What is Pownce you ask? Pownce describes itself as “…a way to send stuff to your friends”. Pownce had been around for about 6 months if I had to guess and hadn’t really stormed onto the social networking scene. Pownce basically takes what Twitter does and adds more features. Twitter is place to constantly update what you are doing. Think of Twitter like a one sentence blog submitted multiple times a day. Constant status messages so to speak. Well, Pownce takes this approach and instead of just text status messages, you can send or post pictures, links, files, events, and even the more regularly used status type updates.
Why join this site? I don’t know. I don’t see anything terribly innovative about it. I’m trying it out but it just doesn’t have enough for me to sway from Facebook. Overall, my personal opinion is that it isn’t anything special, nothing to run and join but if you want to try something different, check it out.
If you want to see a profile on Pownce, feel free to check out mine by clicking the banner below:
