So guys, for those of you who don’t know Jon and I were sent a couple of phones from Rogers Communications. After playing with the Motorola Razr2 that they sent us, I have formed my opinion. Since I was the first to handle this unit for about a week. Jon was busy playing with the LG Shine which I will be reviewing next.

NerdyBlog.com would like to offer more than one perspective on the things we review, so you will see my review, and Jon’s review as we finish them up.

Bear in mind this review is my opinion, and Jon will add his once he is done writing it.

Services we got to try courtesy of Rogers Communications were:

• Video Calling (Awesome)
• Text Messaging
• Multimedia Messaging
• Web Browsing
• Mobile TV
• Vision Package (Radio, Youtbe etc.)

Without further ado, here are my thoughts and some info about the services we tested. Just to clarify, we tested every aspect of these phones, so please make sure to ask us about them if there is something missing that you would like to know.

Hello NerdyBloggers!

As you all may have noticed, NerdyBlog.com has been contacting various vendors requesting demo units or product samples that we could review for all of you fine people.

Sony upon reading our email, offered a fair critique of our e-mail and turned us down in the most robotic way possible. They tried to make it sound personal but it only came off as another corporate e-mail sent by the same guy at Sony that doesn’t even get to attach his name to the e-mail.

Here is what we got back in its entirety nothing has been changed or redacted.

Thank you for contacting Sony of Canada through our website. Although
Sony does have a program for product loans, our product pool is
extremely small and we are unable to provide you with any loans.

We do not do any manufacturing here in Canada, and must purchase our
product from Sony factories overseas. Budget constraints do not allow us
to pull products for all media requests and we are forced to limit our
media loans to specialized technology reports and large national media
(like the Globe & Mail, CanadaAM, etc) and at this time we do not loan
to blogs. Trusting you understand and all the best with getting your
blog off the ground.

By the way, your email was very professional, well thought out and well
written, so with perseverance and continuing with this approach, we are
sure you will do well. <–This part made us laugh a bit.
