This afternoon, NerdyBlog.com got in touch with a couple executives within Rogers Communications with regards to acquiring demo units to test and review for you; our NerdyBlog.com readers.
After a couple of e-mails, and speaking with a very nice lady with Rogers Communications we can now happily announce that Rogers will be sending us devices to test and review for you readers!
The first two reviews in a series of Rogers Wireless devices will be coming shortly. We will also be demonstrating and filming a video call placed on the Rogers Wireless Vision network which uses HSDPA technology to pass voice, and video across their network.
This is an amazing step for NerdyBlog.com, and we would like to thank everyone involved in making this happen for us. We would love to post a list of the people we contacted to discover this program, and make it happen, however we are not quite sure if the people involved would like their names or information publicly posted here.
We will get in touch with the people involved and obtain the apropriate permissions before updating this post with more information as to how to get involved in this program. One thing to note is that you should me some form of media outlet (Visual, Print, or Audio).
Thank-You Rogers Wireless, Rogers Communications, and all others that were involved!

Today Apple Computers has announced their new line of computers dubbed the Mac Pro. Sporting dual quad core processors, a shiny new copy of OSX Leopard, and a few other spec upgrades, this looks to be one hell of a machine!
From Apple.com
Starting at just $2,999, the new Xserve has up to two Quad-Core 3.0 GHz Intel Xeon processors for 8-core performance, a new server architecture, faster front side buses, faster memory, up to 3TB of internal storage and two PCI Express 2.0 expansion slots for greater performance and flexibility. “With the latest Intel processors and no client access licenses, Xserve offers unbeatable server performance and value for under $3,000,” said Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing.
This sounds like a very attractive machine, however that is a very hefty price tag. Can’t wait for all this great stuff to start crossing the border.
